TRECHEM Chemical Technologies was founded in 2006 by the company’s president, Dr. Gregory (Greg) Tregre. The mission of TRECHEM is to develop new technologies, create opportunities and promote innovation.

DEVELOPING NEW TECHNOLOGIES – TRECHEM works with researchers, inventors and entrepreneurs in the polymer and chemistry industry take ideas from laboratory discovery to commercially viable product. We specialize in helping University and Institutional researchers take their inventions to the next level. We provide our clients with services such as independent data development and/or validation, process optimization, and production scale-up. We can also provide distribution and sales assistance in many cases. Through close relationships with the University of Southern Mississippi and the Mississippi Polymer Institute, TRECHEM can also offer clients a wide range of analytical capabilities.

Founder and President, Dr. Gregory Tregre

Dr. Gregory Tregre has a diverse background in the polymer and coatings industries. Greg received his B.S. and Ph.D. in Polymer Science from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1991 and 1997 respectively. He has 10 years of industrial experience as a research chemist, plant process chemist and technical marketing specialist. He has lead projects in product development, scale-up, process optimization, marketing and sales. In 2006, Greg realized a long-time goal by founding TRECHEM Chemical Technologies. His purpose in forming TRECHEM is summarized in the company’s mantra: Integrity, Innovation and Impact.
